About Us

Humairah Charity Foundation (HUCHAFO) is a registered non-profit organization based in Uganda, uniting over 13 Muslim and non-Muslim NGOs and CSOs working to empower and uplift children, youth, and women across the country.

Founded on the principles of compassion, inclusivity, and service, HUCHAFO is committed to promoting social welfare and community development through faith-based and humanitarian action. We focus on a wide range of areas including education, health, advocacy, economic empowerment, and environmental protection.

We work closely with vulnerable groups — especially orphans, school dropouts, young people, and women — to ensure they have access to essential services, opportunities, and a voice in shaping their future.

Our Work Includes:

• Sponsoring orphans and school dropouts to return to school

• Promoting child protection and welfare

• Supporting sexual and reproductive health education

• Providing healthcare services and awareness

• Empowering youth through livelihood and skills development

• Advocating for human rights and social justice

• Addressing climate change through environmental initiatives

• Strengthening Islamic faith values while fostering interfaith collaboration
