Sexual and Reproductive Health Education Program

Program Overview

The Sexual and Reproductive Health Education (SRHE) Program at Humairah Charity Foundation (HUCHAFO) is dedicated to empowering young people, especially adolescents and women, with the knowledge, skills, and services they need to make informed decisions about their bodies, health, and futures.

In Uganda, access to accurate sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information remains a major challenge. Misconceptions, stigma, cultural taboos, and lack of services contribute to high rates of early pregnancy, unsafe abortions, HIV/STIs, and gender-based violence. HUCHAFO’s SRHE Program addresses these challenges through education, advocacy, and community-based outreach.
