Program Overview

The Child Protection and Welfare Program at HUCHAFO is dedicated to safeguarding children’s rights and ensuring their safety, well-being, and holistic development. Recognizing the vulnerabilities children face — including abuse, neglect, exploitation, and social exclusion — this program is designed to create protective environments that nurture and empower every child.

Objectives

  • To prevent and respond to all forms of child abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence.

  • To promote children’s rights and ensure their access to basic services including education, healthcare, and social support.

  • To strengthen families and communities to provide safe and nurturing environments for children.

  • To advocate for child-friendly policies and raise awareness on child protection issues at the community and national levels.

  • Vulnerable and at-risk children, including orphans, street children, and those affected by abuse or neglect.

Program Components

1. Prevention and Awareness

  • Conducting community sensitization campaigns on child rights and protection.

2. Direct Support and Intervention
